Dr. Katy

We’re delighted to introduce you to Dr Katy Turner – one of our experienced dentists here at Ringway Dental.

Katy brings a brilliant combination of surgical expertise, restorative knowledge and gentle patient care to the team. Since qualifying with Honours from the University of Sheffield in 2007, she has built a strong background across general dentistry, hospital oral surgery and dental implant treatment.

After completing her early training in general practice, Katy went on to work in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Manchester Royal Infirmary. This gave her invaluable experience in managing more complex surgical cases and helped shape the calm, confident approach she brings to dentistry today.

She later continued her hospital work in Oral Surgery at Salford Royal, gaining further experience in complex extractions, surgical procedures, biopsies, IV sedation and treatments carried out under general anaesthetic.

Alongside her surgical training, Katy has continued to develop her skills in general and restorative dentistry. She has also completed further training in dental implantology, including a year-long multi-system implant course at Trafford General, and now places dental implants independently.

Katy has a particular interest in oral surgery, dental implants, dental sedation and restorative dentistry. She is especially passionate about helping patients who may feel nervous, anxious or unsure about treatment.

Patients appreciate Katy’s calm, compassionate manner and her ability to explain things clearly. Whether you are visiting for a surgical procedure, considering dental implants, or simply looking for someone who will take the time to help you feel at ease, Katy’s approach is reassuring, thoughtful and highly skilled.
